You can fill the appliance with water in place from the top without having to disassemble the unit. The knob allows you to select between two performance levels: day or night mode. A red LED lets you know that water needs to be refilled.

System description of the Air Washer

The air washers humidify and "wash" the air. The resilient evaporator mat rotates through the water, thereby enriching the air with moisture.
